Congratulations to the graduating Year 10 IGCSE students of Chandra Kusuma School on their IGCSE exams results, which demonstrated excellent academic accomplishment.

Out of the 18 candidates who entered for IGCSEs in 2015, 15% of students received A and A* (A star) grades in most of the subjects they sat - 3 students received 6 A/A* in 8 subjects, and 1 student received 4 A/A* in 8 subjects).
The top achievers who lead the group with 6 A/A*s are William Jayapratama, Wilbert Osmond and Jennifer Fidelia.
The spectacular results attained by these IGCSE students is a testimony to their own commitment and to the strategies adopted by the school's team of dedicated and passionate international teachers to maintain the standards of academic excellence. Goal Setting Sessions enabled students to set and achieve their targets. Special attention was given to different abilities of learners through focused and personalised remedial classes and well-structured intensive coaching to improve their performance. The mock examinations prepared the students to handle exam stress.

International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) has been specially designed by Cambridge International Examinations, U.K. IGCSE provides a broad study programme by drawing on subjects from five areas: Languages, Humanities and Social Sciences, Sciences, Mathematics, and Creative, Technical and Vocational subjects. A balanced mix of practical experience and theoretical knowledge is structured within the curriculum. With a choice of 'Core' and 'Extended' papers in most subjects, IGCSE is suitable for students with differing levels of ability. IGCSE allows teaching and learning to be placed in a localised context, making it relevant the world over. Chandra Kusuma School offers the Cambridge IGCSE programme for 2 years during Years 9 and 10.
We wish to extend our warmest congratulations to the IGCSE students and their parents.
