International Students Science Fair (ISSF) 2017 South Korea

For the third time, Chandra Kumala School sent students to attend the International Students Science Fair (ISSF) 2017 held at the Korea Science Academy of KAIST, Busan, South Korea.

Fira Fatmasiefa, Charmin Kresensia, Theresia and Valencia Wiriady were the four students who were sent to compete with students from 35 schools from 25 countries such as Singapore, Australia, America, France, Thailand, Philippines, and other countries.

Presenting their research titled, "Braille Reader Voice" and "Styrofoam as Water Purifier", these four students successfully won 
"Excellent Presentation Award" category. In addition to presenting the research they had done, students also had the opportunity to do some Science experiments that had been prepared by the school organizers.

All participants were also invited to visit some well-known places in South Korea such as Samsung Factory, Science Museum, KAIST University, and several other places. Chandra Kumala School students also had the opportunity to introduce Indonesian culture, through traditional dance performances, to all participants in the "Cultural Performance" activity, an activity designed to give participants an opportunity to share their respective cultures.
